Make your online shop easier to buy from.
We help UK retailers get more from e-commerce: clearer product pages, smoother checkouts and tidier systems behind the scenes. When the job needs software or IT work, we handle that too.

Approach
How a project runs
A simple, predictable process. You always know what we are working on, what it costs and what comes next.
Step 1: Listen
A call about your shop, your customers and what is getting in the way. No preparation needed.
Step 2: Review
We look through the store, analytics and setup, then send a written summary with clear priorities.
Step 3: Build and fix
We agree the scope and price, make the changes, test them and keep you updated as we go.
Step 4: Refine
Once changes are live we check what has moved and suggest what to tackle next, if anything.

Store optimisation
Where we usually look first
Small problems add up. A slow page here, a confusing delivery note there. We work through the areas that most often stop people from buying.
Page speed
Heavy themes, oversized images and unused apps that slow every visit.
Product pages
Photos, descriptions, sizing and delivery details that answer questions before they are asked.
Search and filters
Helping people find the right product in a few taps, not a few minutes.
Checkout and payments
Fewer steps, the payment methods people expect and clear costs up front.
Mobile experience
Most browsing happens on a phone, so we test there first.
Accessibility
Contrast, keyboard use and readable text, so more people can shop with you.
Analytics and tracking
Reliable numbers in GA4 and your platform, so decisions rest on real data.
Email and repeat orders
Basket reminders, post-purchase emails and reasons to come back.
Platforms
Platforms and tools we work with
We work with what you already use where it makes sense, and recommend changes only when they will pay for themselves.
We are independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the companies listed.

Workplace and IT
Software and IT
The technical side, handled
A good shop depends on the systems around it. We build and look after the pieces that keep orders, stock and people moving.
Integrations and automation
Orders flowing into accounting, stock syncing between channels and shipping labels printed without copy and paste.
Custom software
Small web apps, dashboards, ERP and CRM connections, and admin tools for the jobs your platform does not cover.
IT setup and support
Domains and business email, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, devices, backups and access control, set up with care.

About us
Close to the work
When you work with Gift Art Deco, you speak directly with the people doing the work. No relayed messages, and no handover to a different team halfway through.
We work with independent retailers, growing brands and businesses selling online for the first time. Because we cover both commerce and technology, advice and delivery come from the same place, which keeps projects simpler and decisions faster.
- Plain English, with the reasoning behind every recommendation
- Written summaries you can keep and share with your team
- Scope and price agreed before any work begins
- Based in London, working with retailers across the UK

Do you only work with Shopify?
No. Shopify and WooCommerce are the most common platforms we see, but we also work with BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, Wix and Squarespace, as well as marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. If you are not sure which platform suits you, that is a good first conversation.
Can you work on a shop someone else built?
Yes. Most of our work starts with an existing store. We begin by reviewing what is already there, so we can tell you what is worth keeping and what is causing problems.
How do you price projects?
Most projects are quoted as a fixed price once we understand the scope, so you know the cost before any work starts. Ongoing support and smaller jobs can be arranged on a monthly or hourly basis.
Do you work with businesses outside London?
Yes. We work remotely with retailers across the UK, using video calls, shared documents and email. Face-to-face meetings in London can be arranged when they are useful.
Will you need access to my store and accounts?
Only where the work requires it. We ask for staff or collaborator accounts with the minimum permissions needed, never your own login, and we recommend removing our access once a project ends.
What do you need from us to get started?
A link to your shop and a few lines about what is not working or what you would like to change. That is enough for a first conversation.
Tell us what is getting in the way.
Send a short note about your shop and what you would like to improve. We reply by email, usually within two working days.
